PIT VEHICLE RULES
PIT VEHICLES
In the interest of ensuring the safety of riders, spectators, and staff, along with maintaining respect for our facilities, Grassroots Promotions has adopted the following National rules and guidelines regarding the use of pit vehicles at all of our events and locations.
We appreciate your cooperation and respect for the sport as we work together to keep improving our events and facilities.
PIT VEHICLE GUIDELINES & RULES:
- NO Motorcycles, Mini-cycles, ATV’s or electric bicycles with throttles.
(Pedal assist bikes are permitted.)
- Four wheeled vehicles with a maximum width of 65" only permitted
- Operators must have a valid driver’s license and be at least 16 years of age
- Speed Limits is 10 MPH (SLOW)
- Pit vehicles may be used for transportation, not recreation.
- Play Riding/Joy Riding is not allowed.
- All passengers must be seated
- Pit vehicles are PROHIBITED in the following areas:
- Motocross Track or anywhere inside the track fence.
- Public roads & outside of the MX Park.
- Please walk in the following areas:
- Race Office/Registration
- Food & Vendor areas
- Bleacher/Spectator areas
- Pit vehicles may not be operated in a reckless, careless or dangerous manner and may not be operated by anyone under the influence of alcohol.
- Pit vehicle use is a privilege, which can be revoked or terminated for any reason at the discretion of Grassroots Promotions.
- Violation of any of the above rules is grounds for penalty, including but not limited to confiscation of pit vehicle, disqualification of racer, and/or ejection from facility
